Tiny Tidy

Calm puzzle game · Coming to iPhone and the browser

Little puzzles about putting things just so.

Illustration in Tiny Tidy's style: a tidy shelf with five crayons standing short to tall, a pair of striped socks, nested bowls with a strawberry, a tin of iced cookies and a cup of tea, and Pip, the game's little blue bird, sitting happily among them.

Twelve small scenes start a little messy. Notice what belongs together, move it with a finger, and watch the scene settle. No timer, no score, nothing to rush.

Before and after

From a little mess to just so.

Every scene starts untidy and ends as a picture worth keeping. These are real screens from the game.

How it plays

Notice. Try. Discover.

One gentle rhythm, on every scene. No reading needed to start.

  1. Notice

A spoon without its spot. Socks without their twins. Each scene starts with one small thing to wonder about.

  2. Try

Drag a thing where you think it goes, or tap it, then tap the spot. Changed your mind? Undo is one tap.

  3. Feel it

Things lift, follow your finger and settle with a little sound of their own: a wooden tap, a soft rustle of cloth.

  4. Discover

Short to tall. Twin beside twin. The clue is always in the picture, so the answer makes sense the moment you see it.

  5. Enjoy

The sun rises, the rain stops, Pip drops by. The finished scene stays on screen for as long as you like.

Twelve scenes

Twelve little corners to care for.

Each scene is made by hand around its own idea. All twelve are open from the start, so play them in any order.

  1. Scene 1

    Snack Time

    The spoon has a spot.

  2. Scene 2

    Crayon Sunrise

    How tall is each crayon?

  3. Scene 3

    Sock Drawer

    Every sock has a twin.

  4. Scene 4

    Dusty Treasure

    Something hides under the dust.

  5. Scene 5

    Ribbon Road

Where does the ribbon meet each edge?

  6. Scene 6Two ideas

    Cookie Tin

    Shapes, or icing?

  7. Scene 7

    Pebble Pals

    Twins across the fold.

  8. Scene 8Two ideas

    Rainy Day

    Badges, or colors?

  9. Scene 9

    Nesting Bowls

    Small fits inside big.

  10. Scene 10

    Lunch Box

    Can everything fit?

  11. Scene 11Two ideas

    Story Shelf

Heights, or the picture on the spines?

  12. Scene 12

    Lunchbox Surprise

Finish the lid's picture, then open the box.

Meet Pip

A little bird who helps, never hurries.

Pip visits every finished scene. Stuck? Tap the light bulb and help comes in small steps, so you can stop as soon as it clicks. Help is free, as often as you like.

  1. Look closer

A gentle nudge: “Look at the shapes of the cookies.”

  2. The idea

What goes with what, said plainly: “Keep each shape on its own side of the tin.”

  3. Show me

See-through pictures of where everything goes.

  4. Do it for me

Pip finishes the scene, and the celebration still happens.

Cookie Tin with Pip's help open: “Look at the shapes of the cookies.”

Watch it tidy

Two scenes, start to finish.

Sock Drawer and Crayon Sunrise, recorded from the game. Here Pip's “Do it for me” moves everything at once; when you play, you place each piece yourself.

Questions

Questions families ask

What's a calming game for kids?

Look for a game with no timer, no score to chase, no ads and nothing to buy, and an ending that makes it easy to stop. Tiny Tidy is built that way: twelve short tidying puzzles where you pair socks, stand crayons short to tall or rub the dust off a treasure, at your own pace, with a little bird named Pip to help. It's coming to iPhone.

When is Tiny Tidy coming out?

There's no date yet. Tiny Tidy is playable in our workshop with all twelve scenes, and we're finishing it for iPhone and the browser; before it ships it needs time in real families' hands. When it's out, this page will link to it.

Is Tiny Tidy free?

Its price isn't set yet. As it's built today, Tiny Tidy has no ads and nothing to buy inside the game: no coins, no energy and no paid hints.

Is Tiny Tidy safe for kids?

It's made to be. There are no ads and nothing to buy inside, no account or names, no chat and no other players. It plays without the internet, and progress stays on the phone. If something goes wrong, you can choose to send a problem report: your words, a picture of the screen (which you can leave out) and where the scene stood.

What ages is Tiny Tidy for?

We made it for children from about five, and the grown-ups beside them enjoy it too. You move things by dragging or tapping, nothing is timed, and the clues are in the pictures, so children who don't read yet can play; Pip's hints are short sentences a grown-up can read aloud. That's our guidance, not an official rating.

Is Tiny Tidy good for screen-time limits?

It's easy to stop. Each scene takes a few minutes, the game saves after every move, and there's no timer, streak or daily reward pulling anyone back. A finished scene just waits, which makes “one more scene, then done” an easy deal.

How do you play Tiny Tidy?

Each of the twelve scenes starts a little messy: socks loose under a drawer, crayons beside an empty holder. Drag each thing where you think it belongs, or tap it and then tap the spot. When the whole scene makes sense, it celebrates (a sun rises, rain stops) and Pip the bird drops by. Undo and restart are always there, and some scenes have a second way to tidy them. It's for one player.

What if my child gets stuck?

Tap the light bulb and Pip helps in steps: a nudge to look closer, then the idea in plain words, then see-through pictures of where things go, and finally “Do it for me”. Help is free and unlimited, and every scene is open from the start, so you can always try another one.

Does Tiny Tidy need Wi-Fi or an account?

No. Once it's on your iPhone it plays without the internet, there's nothing to sign up for, and progress is saved on the phone after every move.

Will Tiny Tidy be on Android, iPad or the web?

It's being made for iPhone and for the browser, so you'll be able to play it in a web browser on other devices too. There's no public version to play yet; this page will say when there is.
