Qube accounts

Parent Rights

See, download, correct, and delete your family's information, at account.qubesoftware.com

English · Last updated October 13, 2026

As the parent, you decide what happens to your family's information in Qube accounts, and you can do all of it yourself at account.qubesoftware.com. Sign in with your email address and the six-digit code we send you, then choose what to do. This page explains each choice. It's part of the Qube accounts Privacy Policy.

Some actions ask for a fresh code from your email first, even when you're signed in, so nobody can take them from a browser you left signed in. Withdrawing consent and revoking a device never do, so stopping is always easy.

See what we hold

Once you're signed in, you can see each profile you manage: its nickname, picture, and type; the devices linked to it, and when each last backed up; its recent snapshots; and any earlier finds waiting for your review. You can also see your email address, how many recovery codes you have left, and the browsers you're signed in on.

Download a copy

For each profile, you can download a copy of what we hold about it as a file (JSON): its nickname and picture, any consent record, its devices, its game progress, the list of its snapshots, its receipts, and its imports. The file never includes credentials or codes.

Correct and update

  • Change a profile's nickname or picture.
  • Rename a device.
  • Change your email address. We send a code to your current address and another to the new one, and you confirm both.
  • Replace your recovery codes, with a fresh code. The old ones stop working.
  • Sign out of your other browsers.

Decide which devices can back up

A device links only with your approval. Enter the code the game shows, confirm with a fresh code, and choose the profile, or turn the request down. If the device already has finds of its own, they're added to the profile only if you approve them after seeing a summary, with another fresh code, and you can decline them instead. A profile can have up to 10 devices linked to a game at a time.

Revoke a device

Revoke one device, or all of a profile's devices, at any time. A revoked device can't back up or download that profile any more; it finds out the next time it connects. Revoking doesn't erase anything on the device: it keeps its copy of the progress, with anything it hadn't backed up yet, in case you approve it again. To link it again, approve a new request.

Withdrawing consent stops collection for that child's profile at once. Its devices are unlinked, and its backed-up progress, receipts, snapshots, and imports are deleted. You don't need a fresh code to do this. To remove the profile itself, with its nickname and picture, delete it.

Child profiles aren't available yet. They open only after our parental notice and consent process has been reviewed.

Go back to a snapshot

Return a profile's progress in a game to one of its snapshots from the last 30 days, with a fresh code. Before restoring, we save the current progress as a snapshot too, so you can change your mind. Progress made after the snapshot you choose isn't merged back in, including finds on a device that was offline. Linked devices pick up the restored book the next time they connect.

Reset a game's progress

Remove one profile's progress in one game, with its snapshots and receipts, and start that game's book again from empty. This needs a fresh code. Linked devices pick up the empty book the next time they connect.

Delete a profile

Delete a profile with everything we hold about it: its nickname and picture, any consent record, its device links, and all its game progress, receipts, snapshots, and imports. This needs a fresh code. Devices linked to it remove their copy the next time they connect.

Delete your account

Delete your Qube account: your email address, sign-ins, and recovery codes, and every profile you manage with everything we hold about it. This needs a fresh code. A few short-lived records stay for a while to keep deletions safe; Data Retention lists them.

If you lose access to your email

Use one of your recovery codes with a new email address, and confirm the code we send there. For safety, this signs out every browser, revokes every device link, and gives you new recovery codes. Your profiles and their progress stay; approve your devices again afterwards. We tell your old address that it happened.

Keep your recovery codes somewhere safe, away from the game devices. If you lose both your email and your recovery codes, the account can't be recovered: we won't move an account or a profile to anyone on the strength of a nickname, a device name, or a claimed relationship.

What these controls can't reach

We can only change what we hold. Each linked device keeps its own copy of a profile's progress so the game can play offline. Deleting a profile or your account, or withdrawing consent, removes that copy the next time the device connects, but we can't reach a device that stays offline. To remove the game's data from a device yourself, clear the game's site data in that browser.

Other requests and questions

Depending on where you live, you may have other rights over your family's information. If you want something you can't do yourself on account.qubesoftware.com, or have a question, email Qube, LLC at admin@qubesoftware.com. Never share a code from a Qube email with anyone, including us.
