It's kind of a big dill.
Pickle-trading card gameComing soon
Haggle your way to The Big Dill.
Run a pickle stall at the Puckerville Saturday Market. Produce rides your conveyor in a fixed order and each jar holds one kind, so you'll haggle with the other picklers to fill your jars, then sell them for Dillars.

The market's nearly ready. Its Play button appears right here the day it opens.

It's kind of a big dill.

Haggling is the fun
Every turn the bell rings at one stall. Offer, counter, beat someone's deal or gift away the onion nobody wants. Sweet dill!

Your conveyor won't wait
Produce arrives in a fixed order and you can't shuffle it. Trade away what doesn't fit before it lands in your jars.

One kind per jar
The fuller the jar, the more Dillars it sells for. Sell too soon and it's a pickle flop.

Three seasons, three Cravings
Spring, Summer and the Harvest Market each crave one kind of produce. A craved jar pays a bonus Dillar.

Sprigs, Gherkins, Jumbo Jars
Dill Sprigs season any jar. The Golden Gherkin pays even alone. Thirteen cucumbers? JUMBO JAR!

Bots with personality
Juniper gifts freely, Nana Brine never overpays, and Capt. Vinny is a literal seal who seals dills.
How a turn goes
Pack, pick, haggle, jar.
Six quick steps at the active stall. Every deal includes the stall whose turn it is, so everyone is trading on every turn.
Pack
Jar the front card of your conveyor. You may pack the next one too.
Fresh Picks
The farm truck drops two cards at your stall.
Chalkboard
Post what's up for trade and the produce you're after.
Trade
Everyone makes you offers. Shake on the good ones.
Jar It
Everything you kept or got goes into your jars.
Restock
Three new cards roll onto the back of your conveyor.
The handshake
Shake on it. Seal the dill.
A deal you shake on waits a moment so the whole market can see it. Anyone can beat it with a better offer. Then the wax comes down.
Beat it
Offer the active stall more for the same cards, before the deal seals.
Gifts count
Hand over a card for nothing. Sometimes the best deal is a kind one.
Table OK
A deal seals once enough of the table says OK, or everyone's done trading.
Real screens
A Saturday at the market.

The title: Dilly and Ollie shake on it.
Your market: post what's up for trade, and the offers roll in.
At Pip's market: offers, a Beat it, and a deal sealed in wax.
Hamish sells a jar of four olives for 3 Dillars.
A new season: Summer's customers crave beets.
Closing time: the richest pickler is The Big Dill.
The Price Tag
Bigger jars, more Dillars.
Every kind of produce has a Price Tag: how many cards a jar needs for each Dillar. Rare produce pays sooner.

Sell a jar too early and it can pay nothing at all. That's a pickle flop.

よくある質問
Questions families ask
When can we play Seal the Dill?
Soon. Seal the Dill is in Qube's workshop: the whole game plays, and we're finishing it before it opens to everyone. There's no date yet. When it opens, it plays in your web browser and a Play button appears on this page.
How many people can play Seal the Dill?
Two to eight stalls, in any mix of people and bot picklers, so one person can play against bots and a big family can all play together. At two, a Co-op Stall of three face-up cards gives each player one extra swap on their turn. Six to eight is a Block Party, where everyone haggles on every turn.
Is Seal the Dill free?
Yes. Like every Qube game, it's free to play. There are no ads and nothing to buy: Dillars are the game's play money, earned only by selling jars of produce.
Is Seal the Dill safe for kids?
It has no chat, no ads and nothing to buy. Online, players react with six ready-made stickers such as "Sweet dill!", and the only thing anyone types is their name, up to 16 characters. Online markets are private: you join with a five-letter code or an invite link from someone you know, and there's no public matchmaking.
Do we need to download anything or make an account?
No. Seal the Dill plays in a web browser on a phone, tablet or computer, in portrait or landscape, with nothing to install. You don't need an account, email or password: online play asks only for a name and a critter.
Can we play on different phones?
Yes. One person opens an online market and shares its five-letter code or invite link, and everyone joins on their own phone, tablet or computer. Or pass one phone around: a "Pass the jar!" screen hides each conveyor while it changes hands. A TV or tablet can also show the whole market as a table view.
How long does a game of Seal the Dill take?
Most markets take 20 to 40 minutes, depending on how many picklers are haggling. A market lasts three seasons, or two with the Quick Market rule. Online, an optional turn timer keeps trading moving.
What age is Seal the Dill for?
Ten and up is a good guide: players read the cards and make deals. Younger players can learn with Open Conveyors, a Market Rule that turns every conveyor face up, and Dilly explains each step the first time it comes up.
How do you play Seal the Dill?
On your turn, pack the front card of your conveyor into a jar, flip two Fresh Picks, and post what you'll trade on your chalkboard. Everyone makes you offers, and you shake on the ones you like. Then everyone jars what they kept or got, and three new cards roll onto the back of your conveyor. Each jar holds one kind of produce, and a fuller jar sells for more Dillars. After three seasons, the richest pickler is crowned The Big Dill.
What languages is Seal the Dill in?
English, for now.

The market opens soon.
Dilly's polishing the jars. Come back for the first Saturday.
